Button Badge Design Competition

Get your design skillz at the ready and put your badge designs where your ego goes as it’s the 4th annual Stereohype Button Badge Design Competition… in case you haven’t already heard!

The aim is to design funny, witty, amusing… generally great bits of tiny art for button badges. The deadline for entries is Thursday, 31st January, 2008 (midnight, GMT).

There are over 350 designs you can have a look at from previous competitions in case you need a little inspiration. Additionally, here are a list of the prizes up for grabs:

1st prize (applies to both categories: ‘single badge’ and ‘set of three)
*** your personal mini profile/bio (with URL to your website) on stereohype.com with short descriptive text about your artwork(s)
*** a total of ten free 1″ badges per person for single entries OR a total of fifteen for ‘sets of three’ (for example: five ‘sets of three’ or fifteen individual designs] with either your own design(s) or your selection of badges by other designers
*** one free T-shirt of your choice (subject to availability)

The growing judging panel 2007/08: (last updated: 17th December 2007)

The straight-forward judging process: Judges will pick their favourite designs and give them points from 1 to 3 in each category (’sets of 3′ and single entries) – 3 points for their absolute favourite. The designs with the highest score will win.
